- Struggling to Stay awake, exhaused?
Good Morning Sunshine!! Everyone I have talked to the past 2 months have been experiencing the same problem. No energy, tired during the day, and not enthusiasm. This is the beginning of a downward spiral, because we start relying on carbs, caffeine, and sugar to get our energy. I suffer from this as well. The holistic approach to overcoming tiredness and depression In our fast-paced world, many people struggle with extreme tiredness and depression throughout the day These conditions can leave us feeling drained, unmotivated, and disconnected. While it's easy to reach for temporary solutions like caffeine or medication, a holistic approach can offer deeper, longer-lasting relief by addressing the mind, body, and spirit. What causes extreme tiredness and depression? Fatigue and depression can have a range of causes. Physical factors, such as poor sleep, poor nutrition, or hormonal imbalances, can leave the body exhausted. Mental and emotional stress, unresolved trama , or anxiety can also drain our energy, making it difficult to stay focused and positive throughout the day. Additionally, a lack of physical activity, and too much screen time can affect your energy levels and mood. A holistic approach to healing. - Daylight Savings Time Effects on Mental Health
Don't let the clock rule your life! Prepare your internal clock!! While losing an hour of sleep might not sound like a major change, it has a big impact on our health because most Americans are already not getting enough sleep. This extra disruption amplifies any of the symptoms that they're already having. The time change also brings with it other adverse health impacts due to changes in our circadian rhythm. Our circadian rhythm is our internal clock, and it is very tightly linked to the 24-hour day, it actually alters the relationship between our internal clock and the external environment. Moving to daylight saving time means that our circadian rhythms are no longer aligned with rising and setting of the sun and that impacts our health. When we're on Standard Time, the daylight hours are more closely aligned with our circadian rhythms, The change happens when the clocks spring forward, we shift to daylight saving time, it's dark later in the morning, and that is not good for our overall health and wellbeing. A study from Harvard University talks about the impact of time changes on mental health Disruption of circadian rhythms can upset our body's natural cycles, affecting mood and sleep Increase in mood problems. Possible side effect to include anxiety, depression, and thoughts of self-harm Depressive episodes can result in an 11% increase in episodes. How to deal with the change naturally according to Mayo Clinic Adjust your clock early by shifting both your bedtime and your wake-up time earlier by 15-minute increments in the days leading up to daylight saving time. Make gradual adjustments to your sleep schedule. Be consistent with your sleep schedule. Enjoy the longer evenings. Reduce screen time. Get outside for some exposure to early morning sunlight. There is not medicine that can help, you have to get prepared and in front of the problem. There is always tea!

After researching and studying the causes and affects to my body, I found a perfect blend of Ashwagandha, Lavender, Chamomile, and Lemon Balm. Ashwagandha root, Lavender, Chamomile, and Lemon Balm has been traditionally used because of their calming properties by many cultures around the world. This tea is considered potent supporting relaxation and restlessness. Enjoy the calming aroma of Lavender! This tea actually helps me to achieve rem sleep. I feel refreshed and focused the next morning and feel like I can accomplish anything. I call it Tranquil Sedative Tea. Of course, herbs like medication affect everyone differently. But always remember, this is a lifestyle so you need to incorporate a clean diet as well to fully achieve wellness. I try all teas myself so I can tell you the effects it had on me. I have tried a lot of different teas for convivence, but there is nothing like getting back to our roots. My grandmother was the "medicine lady" of her family as her mother. She always had a natural remedy for any ailment with no addictive properties. Everyone would laugh at her remedies, but when she passed away at 87 years old, the only medication she was on was a 1st level blood pressure medication. Consult with a healthcare provider before using this tea if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medications for thyroid issues, blood pressure, or anxiety. Or have chronic health conditions. Always be aware of potential allergies, especially to chamomile and lavender. This tea may cause drowsiness. It is recommended to not drive or operate heavy machinery after drinking.
